Historical Tour & Tea! The Kerr Taylors at St Luke's Mt Albert
There are still a few places available for our Auckland Heritage Festival tours of St Luke's Mt Albert on Saturday!
Join us for a closer look and an insight into the Kerr Taylors' involvement at this local historic site. Lots of interesting secrets and stories to be revealed with a quick ramble through the graveyard to see the plot where Allan & Sophia and almost all the children rest today.
Followed by a spot of tea & scones at Alberton of course! With the chance to meander in the house and garden at your leisure.
'Tour & Tea. The Kerr Taylors at St Luke's, Mt Albert' Saturday 10 October 10am & 1:30pm. Tickets $25. Bookings essential. alberton@heritage.org.nz. 846 7367
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
