Government announces paid internships for beneficiaries in film industry
Hi neighbours. The Government will fund 20 paid internships for beneficiaries to work in Auckland's screen sector.
The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) has partnered with Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development (ATEED) to create the jobs in the Auckland film and production industry.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
