Global Creative Therapy & Connection
If you've been following lately you may have noticed that some inspiring Colour Our Story events have been taking place across parts of Africa thanks to our amazing global ambassadors in Uganda, Cameroon and Sierra Leone.
Our children's global colouring in books are designed to empower, inspire and create a deeper sense of connection, empathy, curiosity and global citizenship through the therapeutic joy of creativity.
The kids got to experience reading stories and colouring in drawings created by other kids all across the globe. In response they dived in their own hearts and minds, sharpened their pencils and got to work creating their own powerful drawings and stories that they wished to share with everyone.
So now's the time where we get to start preparing that beautiful content for our special colouring in books (made by kids, for kids, all across the world) and we've always believed that should be a special, fun event in itself too. So easy, so rewarding and no skills or experience needed! Everything will be provided.
Event: fb.me...
It's been a while since I've organised one of these so it will be quite a celebratory event with a few extra surprises and I'll be brewing up a delicious batch of my favourite mulled wine with nibbles, relaxing music, videos and others logging in from across the globe to hang out with us for an evening of purposeful and therapeutic fun... connecting creatively with like minded souls.
AT COLOUR OUR STORY OUR AIM IS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN IN NEED OF THE THERAPY AND JOY OF CREATIVITY THROUGH GLOBAL EXCHANGES, OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPLIES.

Smoke in Mt Wellington
Smoke has been seen coming from the crater of the Auckland maunga Mt Wellington.
Images of the smoke began appearing on social media on Friday afternoon.
Around 1.45pm, Fire and Emergency (Fenz) shift manager Josh Pennefather told the NZ Herald a crew was fighting a fire of about 60 square metres in size.
”It’s spreading up hill … [but] there’s no property at risk at this stage,” Pennefather said.
Six fire trucks were in attendance working to contain a grass fire that's spreading up the maunga.
A helicopter was on its way to assist firefighting efforts, he added.
At 2pm, Pennefather shared that the fire was contained and they were working to extinguish it, including “keeping an eye on a whole bunch of hot spots“.
