National Aplaca Day Sunday

Caryn Wilkinson Reporter from Community News

Ever seen an alpaca up close?

This Sunday, you will have the chance to see one and learn about alpaca farming on National Alpaca Day.

Farms will open their gates for free so members of the public can get up close to the animals.

Experienced breeders will talk about owning and caring for alpacas, along with the many uses for the animals' ultra fine fibre.

To find an open day in your neighbourhood, go to www.alpaca.org.nz...
or go to admin@alpaca.org.nz for information.
