Part of Scouts New Zealand, we welcome boys and girls from age 6yrs to 18yrs.  We develop young people through fun and challenging activities. Our youth develop a range of practical skills, use teamwork and develop leadership skills. Youth are split into sections according to age: Keas for the youngest, then Cubs, Scouts and Venturers. All Leaders are trained volunteers.

Youth are engaged in outdoor activities such as camping and tramping, with Scouts and Venturers adding water activities such as rowing and sailing - even in winter!  We get involved in special events such as canoe carnivals, regattas, adventure camps, and many other activities where we meet up with other Scout groups.  Scouts get the opportunity to attend National Jamboree, and Venturers have Venture, both run once every 3 years.  Scouting offers a great deal, and has been around for a very long time in over 100 countries.  A great way to get kids (and adults!) off devices and into the outdoors!
