Waipuna Hospice provides specialist medical services, nursing care and support to people living with an illness for which cure is no longer an option. We care for patients and their families living in Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty. Our geographical area covers Waihi Beach to Paengaroa and while our focus is on Hospice at Home, we have a 9 bed Inpatient Unit in Te Puna for short term admissions, and a Day Services Clinic. We also offer support services to patients and their support networks whether this be family/whanau, friends, neighbours, or staff at rest homes and hospital. Our aim is to help our patients live well, and to live as fully and comfortably as possible.
