Waikanae Scout Group is for boys and girls Sections and school years Keas: School years 1 - 3 Cubs: School years 3 - 6 Scouts: School years 6 - 10 Venturers: School years 10 - 13 Rovers: 18 – 26 years The Group The Group meet at the Scout Hall, Russell Reserve, Ngaio Road, Waikanae. This hall has been our base since 1957. Scouts have been in Waikanae since 1918 at various other locations. The Group consists of a Group Leader, a Committee (who oversee property, gear and finances) and the Section Leaders who run the youth groups. We are constantly looking for adult leaders and committee members. All leaders and committee members are unpaid volunteers. Meeting times: During the school term the groups meet regularly on the following days and times: Keas : Wednesday 5.45pm - 6.45pm Cubs: Monday 6.30pm - 8.00pm Scouts: Wednesday 7.00pm – 9.00pm
