Join us for our second Whangārei Volunteer Fair! Volunteering Northland celebrates the volunteer community in Te Tai Tokerau by hosting a day focused on volunteering, entertainment and making connections with local organisations doing amazing work in our comunnity.
The Volunteer Fair is a free, family-friendly event that includes food, entertainment, and micro-volunteering opportunities. By bringing together volunteers and organisations from all backgrounds, we want to create a space where everyone can find a cause they believe in and feel a sense of belonging in their community.

It is … View moreThis practical 4-session workshop will cover the basics of what good governance looks like, and will provide tools for ensuring a board is effective in adding value to the important work that your organisation does.
This workshop is suitable for both new and experienced board members.
It is recommended that at least two people from a board participate to gain maximum benefit for the organisation.
We also encourage organisations to bring a young participant FREE of charge if they are a 'Young Adult' aged 17- 30 years. This person does not have to be an existing board member, but someone involved in the organisation that would benefit from this Professional Development.
