Birkenhead Branch of world-wide u3a - an organisation that arranges opportunities for the meeting together of interested and interesting people (usually retired) to learn, contribute and to make new friends in their local community. We have monthly general meetings with interesting speakers, and 14 special interests groups that members can join. We aim to provide a range of educational, recreational, and social activities.
