We work with young people, youth leaders, teachers, parents and volunteers. We provide creative group activities for youth and children in schools supported by youth mentors that enable the potential of students to be fulfilled. Examples of group activities are kapa haka, Te Ara Ki Te Ao Maori (Journey into the Maori World), Maori visual arts, arts and crafts and organic vegetable gardening. Over the past nine years we’ve partnered with over 35 schools in Hawkes Bay where needed. We facilitate interactive workshops (wananga) for students interested in communication skills, facilitation, and cooperative learning that meet the aspirations of staff relevant to their work. We provide coaching for all staff who need to find more part-time work in line with their personal objectives. We partner with Community Agencies to share resources and learning opportunities that enable us to be more effective.
