Situated in the heart of the Waikato -Tainui tribes, the Te Awamutu Museum houses the oldest Māori artefact - Uenuku. The main historical exhibit, Waipà - Ngà Toanga Tuku Iho showcases treasured moments and objects in Waipà history. A family-friendly museum with an activity area for children and compelling stories for people of all ages.
