Our Summer Reading Programmes are now underway. Have you signed up yet? We have challenges for adults, teens and kids on Beanstack which is a digital way to participate this year. Kids have a choice to sign up for our paper version if you’d like to keep them offline.

Come and join in the fun this school holidays at all branches of Hamilton City Libraries! We have space-themed art classes, Lego space sets, scavenger hunts and telescopes to our UFO Exhibition and experiencing the International Space Station on our Virtual Reality headsets!
We’re moving to winter hours from Monday (1 August) while we experience high staff shortages due to illness. All libraries will close at 1.30pm on Mondays and 5.30pm on the other weekdays. Our weekend hours remain unchanged.
