Greenhithe Riding for the Disabled (Grrda) is a small group that has been operating now for near on 39 years in Wainoni Park, Greenhithe. We are one of a group of 6 situated in the Auckland area and one of 55 throughout NZ. We cater for mainly children from 5 - 21 with varying disabilities and our organization is mainly run by volunteers.
We operate only on a Saturday morning 8.30 - 12.15, 3 school terms a year but would love to also be able to offer mid week sessions. We currently own 6 horses and have a free lease horse.
If you are looking for an organization to volunteer for and are 16 yrs and over we would love to hear from you. We also take on students doing their DUKE OF ED.
