We are looking for regular helpers (once a week/fortnight) and people who can be "on call" if we need extra's. If you (or anyone you know) is interested please message or email Sarah at secretary.nsctl@gmail.com

We are also looking for some new committee members if that would be something you could be interested in.We particularly looking for a roster coordinator (2 hours/ month) and a treasurer (1 hour/ week). There is no rush, but out current volunteers have been on for 5-8 years and live has become busy. We offer full training and ongoing support (for accounts we use Xero) and it is a great opportunity for someone to up-skill.

Dear Neighbours,

Our little pressures community charity needs to vacate our current building early next year. Although we are looking for over a year now we can't find something for us. We are after 80 sqm of room or rooms. We are a Toy Library and need the room to welcome our families when picking up their toys and to store our toys. We are flexible whether it is an office or retail building, a warehouse, container building or garage, in a school/ daycare retirement villages or in cooperation with other organizations. We also considerung to build our own if we can find land.
We can pay rent, but the $35,000 standard commercial fee is just too much for us. We are around for 34 years now and apart from a librarian entirely run by volunteers. We give access to over 1,300 high quality educational toys for a small annual fee. This not just saves parents money but is also good for the environment. W
Please help us being able to help our beautiful kids also for the coming 30 years!

Dear Neighbours,

Our little charity is currently considering to start catering for special needs children as well. Unfortunately, our current building does not offer the space and safety for wheel chairs to enter.
We really would love to go ahead with this project, but this means we would need to move premises. We can pay a rent, but obviously not a normal rate as we are a charity with very low income.

It should be around Takapuna, Milford, Mairangi Bay or Browns Bay and we are very flexible. We need a building or room where our stock can stay all the time as we do have a lot of toys and with purchasing toys for special needs children, we will even have more. We do not require heating, hot water or windows. A container building or warehouse (lockable) can do as well. We even considering getting an own simple container building if we could lease a property. It needs to be accessible by car.

If any of you has any ideas where we could look that would be much appreciated. We are looking for so long and tried many things but North Shore's real estate market doesn't make it easy for us.

Thanks!

Kat

Our annual kids disco is coming up in August. This is our annual fundraiser allowing us to purchase new toys for our local kids. We do run an amazing raffle during this event and this is a great way to promote your business. We are looking for vouchers and items that are suitable for kids, mums or dads. No support is too small, and if you are in the food industry, we are happy to get help with our buffet as well.
In return we give you great exposure with a pictures Facebook post (860 followers), you will be mention in our special newsletter (350 recipients), and on our webpage (permanent). Everyone of those will include a link to your page. We are happy to display you flyers for a 3 months period. We also print your logo on the tickets and mention you during the raffle. Last year we do had 200 visitors and we are aiming for the same numbers or hopefully more.
For any questions/ ideas please contact our president Kat presidentnstl@gmail.com, 02102230179.
