The Fall of donations started in 2018 when Manurewa Crime Watch changed its name to Community Patrols This gave the people a false sense of belief that the WCP had sold out and joined with the Manurewa Crime Watch. To the People of Manurewa the WCP will always be about the Community First, Although we interact with police and emergency services the WCP is governed by its own council and has no official ties to government organizations. Non Government Orgs and community based local programs are always our way of helping out and growing our communities. All donations to the WCP goes to funding our vehicles and equipment so we can be out there in the hood from 8pm to 6am every night. Without em The WCP cant Patrol.

Accident on 25 bend in Rodgers rd left two injured about 1.35am this morning, Driver failed to take corner at speed and plowed into fence.
Police stated Speed was definitely a factor.
The Police are swamped with car break ins and house bugs so much so they take forever to turn up to homes and sometimes dont even turn up, This isnt their fault its the govt they say how many cops are needed and where and when they are placed More cops isnt really the issue though its the amount of… View moreThe Police are swamped with car break ins and house bugs so much so they take forever to turn up to homes and sometimes dont even turn up, This isnt their fault its the govt they say how many cops are needed and where and when they are placed More cops isnt really the issue though its the amount of extra work put on the cops today that is the real issue, From babysitting to tenancy tribunals the NZ Police are no longer police of law and order but Govt Enforcers on all matter the Govt deem necessary.

Just to give a heads up on what it costs to run one night in Manurewa, Clendon, Weymouth, Wattle-downs, Alfristion and Takanini is roughly about $40 per night that is 8pm to 6am. (on the average nights)

Also unfortunately Lock up and record everything as we live in hard times and where the criminal roams without worry.
