Ultra-fast fibre internet is coming to Laingholm. Chorus is holding a public drop-in Q&A session at the Laingholm Village Hall (69 Victory Road) today from 3 to 7pm.
For those who don’t know what it is, fibre internet works via fibre-optic cables, literally at the speed of light. It is superior to ADSL, VDSL and wireless broadband - faster, no poor reception issues and completely safe (doesn’t use cell towers).

The free inorganic waste collection (paid for by your rates) is happening in September and the bookings are due by this Sunday. A great opportunity to get old timber, appliances, etc. removed from your property at no extra cost. Up to 1 cubic metre. Council will try to recycle what … View more

The free inorganic waste collection (paid for by your rates) is happening in September and the bookings are due by this Sunday. A great opportunity to get old timber, appliances, etc. removed from your property at no extra cost. Up to 1 cubic metre. Council will try to recycle what they can and send the rest to the landfil.
