Our goal is to provide musical entertainment and education people in our region in musical performance and composition through band practices, tutorials, workshops, recitals and concerts. The band rehearses every Tuesday night at 7:30 at Scots Hall, in Weka Road, Raumati Beach. Our players range in age from teens to the opposite end of the age spectrum. Because we do not take part in brass band competitions or grading, we are free to play music that we and our audiences can really enjoy.   The band repertoire covers all genres and the main objective is entertainment: the Beatles, Musicals, Neil Diamond, Elgar and many more. We are self-supporting through fund raising from the local community - and members pay a small subscription. 

We are actively recruiting new members so come along and join us! We can even supply instruments, sheet music and tuition.
