Habitat for Humanity's vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Anchored by the conviction that safe and affordable housing provides a pathway out of poverty, Habitat globally has helped more than 6.8 million people obtain safe and decent housing, alongside strength, stability and independence to build better lives. Habitat for Humanity NZ is a not-for-profit organisation offering housing assistance programs both here in New Zealand, and overseas.
