She is very timid at first and will need a quiet, pet-free home.
Such a lovely, sweet-natured cat once she gets to know you. Loves sitting on your chest and being very close to you.
She would suit an older person or couple who is home most of the time very well.
She is also eligible for our foster to adopt program. Foster to adopt homes can be in Wellington, Hutt, Kapiti, or Levin.
What is Foster-to-Adopt you might ask?
This is where you take home a cat that might be a bit shyer at first, and give them time to warm up to you and your family. The period for FTA is around 4-6 weeks, depending on the cat. This ensures we have matched the right cat for your family, before finalising the adoption. Cats will remain owned by F3 during the foster period and the same terms apply to all our foster cats.

As with all of our adoptable cats, he is looking for a home that can commit to keeping him inside at night. Any young kittens need to remain indoor-only until at least 6 months of age and cats over 6 months old for at least 4 weeks before going outside.

Sweetpea, is an absolute sweetheart, confident and brave but so soft and gentle, could say he’s quite the gentleman. The perfect mix of playfulness has speed and agility but also loves his pats and scratches. Great with other cats.
Nasher, is much like his brother, curious and playful, loves a belly rub. But unlike his brother he’s a little bit more reserved upon first meeting someone new, will come out of his shell when he gets to know you
Given that the boys are mainly white, especially near their face and ears. They would need to live as indoor-only cats or have sunblock applied to their ears if allowed out. This is to prevent skin cancer from developing.
They are lovely pair, who would be great together, but could also be adopted separately. If going individually it would be ideal to find a home that has another cat or dog.

We are trying to help cats in an area where business owners are against TNR (concerned re hygeine certificate as food providers), and have already shot a lot of cats. We are trying our best to convince them, but it is not going well. The cats lives are at stake! All appear to have been pets at one stage but dumped and abandoned and as a result being forced to live wild, and they have lost trust of people.
All are spayed or neutered, microchipped, registered and Health checked. . All they ask of you is at least one meal of cat food and a bowl of fresh water each day - they'll take care of their own snacks and dessert! Our barn buddies will need to be sequestered in a contained environment for about 2- 3 weeks so that they come to know their new home - but they come equipped and we can gladly explain all.
We also Desperately need foster homes in the Kapiti area, especially for the those that can be easier socialised. Please read about fostering below www.forgottenfelines.org.nz... fill out our foster form , if you can help by fostering forms.gle...
