We are looking for a reliable and compassionate person to help a woman with a disability in Beachlands. She needs help with many parts of her day, most of your role would be helping her get dressed and ready for the day, ensuring that she sticks to her routine and prompting her when she gets distracted. Her main meals are already prepared, but you will help her get them ready and make sure she eats well throughout the day. She uses a walker and wheelchair to get around and does need some help with personal care tasks.
To be the right person for the role you will be compassionate, considerate, patient and fun loving. We appreciate a job well done, so your ability to pay attention to detail, solve problems and stay upbeat will always be welcome. Some great people skills and basic IT skills are vital and a full drivers licence would be great, but not essential.
While we would love someone with caregiving/support work experience, we are really happy to chat with anyone who is motivated to provide meaningful and quality support to this woman.
We need a variety of shifts filled across the week, so regardless of your availability we would love to chat. Most shifts are two hours in length at her home in Beachlands. Our priorities are mornings (about 6.30am – 8.30am), but there are also hours throughout the morning and early afternoon that we need help with. Your flexibility to fill in gaps when other people are away would always be appreciated. $30 per hour.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun and engaging person to help out 12 hours per week in East Auckland. If you are a strong communicator who is looking for long term and meaningful work this could be the solution you are looking for. A 9 year old boy with autism is looking for a companion to share some fun adventures with throughout his week.
Your time will be split between heading out to the local pools or parks and staying home to practice literacy skills or participate around the house. This is a great opportunity if you have an interest in teaching, nursing or social services. It would be amazing if you have experience with kids or people with autism, but this is not essential.
You need a full drivers licence and a car for this role. You would work two afternoons per week (3pm – 7pm) and one negotiable shift in the weekend (4 hours long). We are really happy to adjust the days and hours to work around your commitments, as long as you are reliable.

🌼Would you like to work 5-15 hours per week in Botany
Our ideal candidate would be someone kind, engaging and sensible. We are looking for someone to support a quiet and peaceful 22 year old woman with an intellectual disability. She needs someone to help her in the afternoons. This role is a beautiful balance between practical and relationship focused.
This young lady needs help with practical tasks like showering and getting dressed, but she also needs someone to spend her afternoons with. Things like helping around the house and chatting about the day, having some fun, while building a trusting relationship. On a Monday she is looking for an activity buddy, to head to the library, dance class or to do some baking.
This role is Monday 10am – 3pm and Tuesday to Friday from 4pm – 5.30pm in Botany, with some flexibility for the right person. These hours could be all done by one person or shared by two. There may be some hours on a Saturday as well if you want them.
