Environment Network Manawatu aims to promote a network of collective community action to realise a vision of an enhanced Manawatu environment. We are a charitable umbrella organisation serving non-profit organisations in the Manawatu River catchment area. Our core business is improving the quality of our member groups' environmental outcomes by promoting cooperation, communication, resource-sharing, and information sharing. Collectively, our 48 member groups contribute to improvements in biodiversity, soil and water quality, water conservation, waste minimisation, energy efficiency, sustainable transport and transport resilience, urban planning, environmental education and sustainability awareness-raising, sustainable food initiatives, and much more.
