Common Unity is a community-based urban development project, growing food, skills, leadership and enterprise based in Lower Hutt, Aotearoa. Our mission as a charity is to ensure every child has a village.
We are based at The Remakery, a community enterprise hub where we learn, produce products from re-loved materials and engage with our community in a unique way. All profits support our Remakery Kitchen—an off grid community kitchen where we turn the produce we grow in our Urban Kai Farms, into meals to nourish our local community. We collaborate with the community who learn, grow and make with us.
