Brighter Rainbows is a registered children/youth Charitable Trust that provides support, activities, programs and Information for children/youth and families with Brain-Development issues, Learning problems and Special needs. Brighter Rainbow’s isn't Government funded. We are proud to work in the Community with our dedicated team and offer families and Whanau flexible support services. We offer free Self-defence fitness kickboxing classes, anti-bullying holiday and after-school programs, Free bikes to low-income families, support groups, activities and events for children/youth with all types of learning problems and disabilities. Our vision is being able to offer a happy environment where all Children/Youth disabled of all ages are included in everyday events and activities within our community. Children/Youth, families and whānau with Brain development problems and disabilities can face many different challenges, these include physical barriers or barriers created by other people’s attitudes. they can also face a lack of access to information, resources and support. We work at trying to solve these issues and create awareness of the huge gap children/youth with different disabilities face, and help finds solutions and offer programs. We have two parts to our Charity, the brain-development and disability side - Brighter Rainbows -that offers support groups, activities, and programs for school holidays, as well as a Motorcycle side which offers fundraising rides and pictures to other children's charity events and organizations.
