Halloween at Stardome 2024

Don't ghost us this Halloween, it’s the most wonderful time of the fear🎃. Take a look at this year’s Halloween line up on Thursday 31st of October!

At 6.15pm and 7.30pm there's Spooky Space, a special family-friendly planetarium show that explores some of the strangest, spookiest corners of the cosmos! See the Witch Head and Tarantula nebulae, veer past the teetering edge of a black hole to the very end of the known universe. Expect the unexpected!
(Tickets are $18/$15)

And then at 8.45pm we're screening The Addams Family, the classic macabre family adventure starring Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci and Anjelica Houston.
(Tickets are $15/$12)

Throughout the evening there'll be spot prizes for the best Halloween costumes, so make them eerie-sistible. Plus, a free popcorn included with every ticket 🍿!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
