Speed limit reductions in the eastern suburbs
Is it bothering anyone else that speed limits are coming down in the Eastern Suburbs? Last year they dropped the limit on Aviemore Drive from 60 down to 50. Just before they did this, they whited out most of the speed limits on that road. Now I see that speed limit signs are being whited out on Botany Road, Pakuranga Road, and Ti Rakau Drive, so it looks as though they are readying to drop those limits as well. If you can't drive down Pakuranga Road safely at 60 kph, maybe you shouldn't be driving at all!

Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?
