Donations of supplies for measles outbreak in Samoa

Jackie Neighbourly Lead from Pakuranga

Good morning beautiful people. If you didn't know theres a measles epidemic in Samoa with currently over 25 deaths mostly those under 5yrs of age. There is a need for supplies to help combat the outbreak. A container is being shipped this Friday and if you'd like to donate I'd be happy to pick up any supplies (if you're close to Pakuranga and surrounding areas) to drop to the container in Wiri by this Friday.

Supplies needed are as follows, disposable nappies, towels, disposable sheets, face masks, plastic gowns, plastic gloves, pillows.

Please note: I am not running this initiative I just thought I'd collect supplies on behalf.

If you want more info I have attached a photo. Thank you

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
