FRIDAY 15TH NOVEMBER At; St Ambrose Church, 309 Breezes Road. 10 am till 2 pm .Many wonderful assorted stalls will be here for Show Day, come along and check them out, all in time for Christmas. Handmade items from crafts, Jewerly, Personalized Candles and Cards, hand knitted baby wear, jams and pickles, Home Made Baking. Books, white elehant stall. Sausage sizzle, Bacon & Egg Sandwiches, Devonshire Teas, Christmas Raffles. If anyone keen to have a stall it is $10 sell to their crafts then please touch base. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
