New Book Swap West Lynn Garden

A new addition to West Lynn Garden is due to be installed by Mothers' Day. This Lovely Little Library, created by Sue Butler was exhibited in The Waitakere Arts Exhibition13th-22nd April. where it was voted Peoples Popular Choice in Craft.
The Artist Sue Butler came up with the idea when going through her mother's cook books. Using a recycled set of shelves and some ply wood she creating the Library.
The Paintings on the exterior, done by Sue says "For the Love of Books". The project inspired by the family's love of reading and learning through books.
The Library will be donated to the West Lynn Gardens in Memory of Sue's mother, Beryl and Brother Greg, whose memorials sit peacefully in this Magical setting,along with many others.
Sue and her Family are grateful to all the volunteers and visitors to this garden that help keep this valuable garden alive. She hope that you all enjoy "For the love of Books" The Lovely little Library.

Come swap a book or sit and read for a while.
