Mr Wayne Anderson - Singer of Songs - guest DJ on East FM

Phil from East Tamaki Heights

He's known as the Singer of Songs, and this Saturday, Mr Wayne Anderson returns to Howick airwaves to entertain us with his amazing knowledge of the famous singers.
He'll be on my show, She'll Be Right on Saturdays with PJ Taylor, from 3-7pm (NZ summer time), on Saturday, October 13, on East FM (88.1FM and 107.1FM locally in East Auckland), and on eastfm.nz (anywhere on the planet).
Many of you will know that Wayne was the subject of a couple of NZ reality TV shows a few years ago and is a true-blue Auckland and Kiwi character, with a knowledge of singers and musicians that is truly astounding. He probably knows more about them than they know/knew.
For this Saturday's show, he's chosen four singers to focus on: Elvis Presley - The King, Roy Orbison - the Big O, Glen Campbell - the Wichita Lineman, and Neil Diamond - the Solitary Man.
The photo of him and me is from his last visit to the big show earlier this year, and the following link is to a news feature I produced for the Papakura Courier/Stuff in March about his record collection that numbers 13,000, and is no doubt still rising.

Catch you on-air on Saturday, and check out the other great shows on NZ's best community radio station, East FM - powered by an awesome team of volunteers.

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
