Covered Race Car Transporter / Trailer

Trevor from Browns Bay

Built in 2014 for Super Saloon dirt track car but used most recently as service trailer for Targa rally, track days and production car races.

I used it in Targa to carry engines, gearboxes, car panels, other spares, tools, fuel, beer and luggage for 3 Targa teams. Overall Length: 8.0m

Covered 6.9m + 1.0m drawbar
Car Compartment: 5.4m
Seating / sleep compartment: 1.4m
External Width: 2.5m (internal 2.4m)
External Height: 2.3m (internal 1.95m)
Weight: ~1,000kg

Length of internal ramps: 4.2m (can accommodate car that's 4.5m)
Width between walls over ramps: 2.4m
Gap between internal ramps: 1.2m

Internal ramps built over the wheels to retain the full width of the trailer for the car. The removable external ramps continue the angle over wheels, for a smooth entrance from the ground.

Moveable wheel rack fits about 4 wheels. Secured across the trailer for transport, swings 90 degrees over the ramp at the event to give access to a workbench.

Heaps of storage under the seat area. Could be used for sleeping compartment, but I used it for a place to rest and relax between Targa stages, and get changed at the end of each day. Somewhere out of the rain.

Electric brakes activated by batteries inside trailer
LED lighting, spotlights for night servicing (speedway, stockcars, saloons)
JVC stereo with 4 speakers – 2 in change / sleep compartment, 2 under ramps which has been great for post- track day BBQ and story telling.
3500lb electric winch
Recent external paint by Takapuna Panel.

This is an awesome trailer – someone who races in the dirt track, race track or rally scene will love this. Will consider trade for flat tandem trailer plus cash my way.

Price: $21,000
