The west is a place of both solitude and adventure. A place to get away from it all or get amongst it. The crash of surf and the wide open spaces of the west’s black-sand beaches and the rush of hidden waterfalls in the rainforest. Palates will be pleased and appetites satisfied here too, whether it’s the taste of a cold craft beer and woodfired pizza on a sunny day, or an antipasto platter paired with the perfect New Zealand wine at a Kumeu vineyard.
