Papanui High School Term 3 Beginners French Course
Are you planning a trip to France? Do you want to challenge yourself by learning a new language? At Papanui High School we are offering a course for beginners in French Language aimed at developing a deeper understanding of French culture and language especially useful for those who are planning to travel to France. The focus will largely be on speaking and listening although some time will be spent on basic written French as well. Topics covered will include greeting, home and town, food and wine, travel and holidays, and weather. Course members thinking of spending some time in France will find the course particularly useful as time will be spent discussing the delights of French culture and some possible travel itineraries. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
