Wellington Sales Consultant Scoops Rookie Of The Year
Jennian Homes Wellington’s newest home consultant is quickly making a name on the national new-home sales market after being named as a Rookie of the Year.
Tim Kunz was announced Rookie of the Year for highest sales for a new-starter in 2016 at Jennian Homes’ annual awards evening in Fiji, marking the conclusion of the organisation’s national conference.
Having worked on the Kapiti Coast within the new home market for many years, Mr Kunz joined the Jennian Homes Wellington team in 2015.
Jennian Homes undertakes a sales benchmarking programme with all new home consultants. Mr Kunz competed against all consultants who were completing their first full year at Jennian Homes.
Jennian Homes Wellington’s memorable awards night was capped off with Mr Kunz’s colleague and fellow new home consultant Craig Kirk announced as a finalist in the New Home Consultant of the Year category.
“We are honoured to not only receive the top award and to have a finalist in the New Home Consultant of the Year category. We have a great team and are constantly challenging ourselves to improve,” say Jennian Homes Wellington owners Simon and Belinda Barber.
“Both Tim and Craig are a credit to our business. Their honest, reliable and hard-working nature is the epitome of what we stand for.”
Jennian Homes chief operating officer Aidan Jury says Mr Kunz has become a consistent top performer and is an integral part of the Wellington team.
“Tim is making a great name for himself and for Jennian Homes on the Kapiti Coast,” says Mr Jury.
“Our entire team congratulates Tim and Craig for their efforts and achievements throughout the broader Wellington region.”
As well as being a high-achieving business, the Wellington franchise is very involved in the community, supporting local sports teams and organising the Wellington leg of the Jennian Homes Mother’s Day Fun Run/Walk – an annual event that aims to raise funds for the Heart Foundation and generate awareness about women’s heart health.
This year’s Wellington leg, held on the Wellington Waterfront, saw more than 1150 people take part in the 5km run/walk on May 14 (Mother’s Day) – a record attendance for the city.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
