It's been a cracking first 6 months of business down here in Canterbury.
I'd like to thank every single individual who'se reached out and entrusted me with the jobs and problems, big and small from a washing machine fault code caused by a paperclip blocking the pump, to hiring a cherry picker to replace a section of industrial guttering torn off in a storm.
It's exactly this variety of work and the variety of people that I get to meet and help in the most direct way possible that I started this business for and which saves me from the monotony of wage slavery.
I've recently deregestered from GST and am passing this saving onto my customers, dropped my old variable rate and now just charge a simple $50/hr, no callout fee, and no milage charge.
Fully covered by liability insurance with six zeros.
