Te Waimate Mission

Cared for by Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga, Te Waimate Mission House is the second oldest standing building in Aotearoa, the site of early Mori-Pkeh interactions, and the first European-style farm and inland mission station.Te Waimate Mission House is situated a 15-minute drive from Kerikeri and Kaikohe. The house is open to the public throughout the year - please check our website for current days and times. Group tours of more than ten people can be booked in advance.
