Art Schools
South Coast Studio is a brand-new venue offering a variety of art-based workshops which currently include Watercolours, Drawing Fundamentals, Perspective Drawing, Life Drawing and Sketch a Pet.
Prior experience is not required. Our classes are for everyone with an open mind, positive attitude, and willingness to laugh a little while learning.
Our tutors are practicing artists who live locally and have prior teaching experience.
Located on Wellington’s stunning south coast overlooking Cook Strait, our studio accommodates up to 12 people per session so it’s a social but not crowded affair.
We are about 100m from the Beach House Café, so coffees, lunches and an afternoon bevy is always within easy reach.
We also host exhibitions, and our studio is available for private events and self-run workshops.
