A a gourmet smokehouse specialising in slow-smoked high-end meats. Our approach has always been to put out only the richest and juiciest of meats for our patrons and give the best possible dining experience at the most affordable prices.We started the Smoking Shack journey in 2022. Since then weve attended over 200 events with our food truck, prepared thousands of kgs of meat and fed thousands of people. Smoking Shack is the dream of two BBQ-obsessed buddies who, at culinary school, always talked about opening a restaurant and in August 2024 we did it. While we have enjoyed the nomadic lifestyle, it's nice to have a place to call home in Grey Lynn. Our truck that made Smoking Shack what it is continues to serve BBQ lovers at events around the North Island.
