sKids Sunnynook is your one stop shop for a highly interactive programmes designed to inspire and educate the children in our care through structured play. We do this by offering fun themed activities and homework help in a safe and nurturing environment that parents trust and kids love.
Children in our care receive the goodness a growing body needs with our nutritional breakfasts & afternoon teas. We pride ourselves on being New Zealands largest private out-of-school supervised care provider. Being an OSCAR approved site means WINZ subsidies are available.

Hey Rechelle, Just wanted to say a huge thanks to you and your team for providing such a fun and safe environment for our kids, I was always skeptical and nervous about these programmes from previous experience however after giving it a go after you guys took over we just have to keep coming back, Jacob gets upset when he isn't booked in to sKids over the holidays and that is a huge credit to your team, a huge relief for us as parents knowing our kids are safe and happy in your care......thanks sKids Sunnynook your team rocks :-) Rachel Bedford
“Previously at Jack’s school I would arrive to pick him up and it was organised chaos, often there was little supervision and kids would be running around screaming. Jack would arrive home wound up and often hungry as the food served was not good. We were looking at alternative options when we were advised that Rechelle and the skids team were joining our school. What a difference this made! Every week has a theme during afterschool care and the kids are truly engaged in the activities when I pick up Jack. The staff appear to love their jobs and care about all the kids in their care, taking personal responsibility for each of them, and Rechelle is amazing with them. Jack is now disappointed on the days I arrive too early picking him up and on days he misses out on going to sKids. He loves both the activities, the structure and the food! Holiday programme is equally great, the day’s activities are well thought out and engaging for the all the children there. From pirates to super hero’s, to carnival days – it has it all. Equally great is the photos that we see on facebook sharing the activities the kids have been doing. If only I was still in school and I could attend – looks much more fun than working!”– S. Leach
