Music Teachers
Miriam is a professional Vocal Coach specialising in Commercial and Contemporary music (CCM) which includes Pop, Jazz, Funk, Soul, R&B, EDM, Folk and Singer/Songwriter styles. She has a Bachelor of Jazz Performance (Voice) from the New Zealand School of Music and has a T.O.S.C.A Certification from the renowned Voice Lab NZ and Atlas Voice NZ.
Engaging sessions are held from a private studio in Wellington South and students receive coaching oriented around their personal goals, with an overall focus on developing vocal health, flexibility, individuality and musicianship. Vocal pedagogy is derived from a sound knowledge of current singing science.
With her ‘come as you are’ attitude Miriam invites an open and honest relationship with her clients. She understands that singing well is about great technique and craft, but it’s also about being free to express yourself at any age and stage!
Suitable for ages 8-100, beginner to advanced.
