Rockit Design Ltd are an Auckland based design company specialising in brand identity, dedicated to delivering that personal touch. Through all aspects of graphics and new product design; packaging, web (SEO), Point Of Sale, illustration and photography, Rockit will work with you to turn ideas into reality.
Rockit's owner is Liam Downes. Liam brings 20+ years experience developing domestic and international brands. His story covers a wide range of industries, from innovation and design projects for 'The Dragon's Den NZ' startup businesses, to 8 years in the role of Creative Manager at Independent Liquor (Asahi Premium Beverages), creating and maintaining a vast portfolio of brands for one of New Zealand's market leaders and trend setters in the multibeverage sector.
He was fortunate enough to spend his first couple of years in NZ on Waiheke Island, and before long Liam was branding some of the island's most established and iconic businesses, such as the Waiheke Island Resort and the Waiheke Island Golf Club. He still has connections with people and businesses on the island today and considers it advantageous to be working from his similarly serene west Auckland studio. Liam collaborates with industry experts with a similar passion and drive for the creative, bringing together the necessary skill sets required to achieve creative solutions to suit all budgets and ambitions.
Liam studied at the University of the Arts in London and worked in design studios and agencies in the UK before moving to New Zealand in 2001. He fully embraces New Zealand's entrepreneurial spirit and takes great pride in building brand loyalty across such a broad and exceptional spectrum of businesses and products.
