I also work with children and adolescents to support them in building resilience, anger/stress/ anxiety management and reduction, increase motivation, learn conflict resolution skills, confidence building, relationship building, and goal setting. Adolescents who develop high Emotional Intelligence, substantially reduce anti-social behaviour and aggression, experience fewer discipline problems and school suspensions, and are LESS likely to use alcohol or drugs, resort to crime, self-harm, or have suicidal thoughts. Peer pressure is less likely to influence young people who have high EQ. They also experience less depression, stress and anxiety.
