When not at work she likes to do some quality baking, taking her dog Dixie to the beach, or even just sitting at home and cuddling one of her 8 cats.

☀️ Heatstroke: To prevent
>Do not leave dogs in cars, even for short time!
> Exercise dogs early morning or late evening.
> Provide plenty of fresh water and shade
> Provide cooling mats or paddling pools or ice cubes in water
> Breeds such as Pugs and Bulldogs are very sensitive to hot weather so as pets with respiratory or heart problems or overweight or older pets.
☀️ Sunburn: Use pet-specific sunblock to prevent sunburn to white or pink skin areas of your pets particularly where hair coat is sparse such as Belly, Nose and Pinna tips.
☀️ Groomings: Clip pets with thick hair coat particularly around face and belly.
☀️ Hot surfaces: 5 Second Rule. Put back of your hand on the pavement or sand for 5 seconds. If it's too hot for you then your pet should not be walking on it.
☀️ Bee stings: Can cause an allergic reaction. Do not remove the sting with tweezers as this can squeeze the poison sac, rather flick it out with a plastic card and seek advice from your vet.
☀️ Grass seeds can cause severe problems as they can migrate into the skin. Avoid long grass. Check your pet's feet and the belly for any grass seeds and remove them.
