Extending many, and working hard at strengths as well as overcoming weaknesses, it provides an outstanding programme for Years 7 - 10, with our Year 10 graduates going on to succeed in private and state schools throughout Auckland (as well as some staying in our Year 11-13 NCEA Academy).
Features are:
1) Maximum of 12 students per class.
2) A superb teaching staff - including Amanda Smith, our Learning Coach, who provides individual and group support and ensures the task set are pitched at the correct level to ensure success.
3) Five core subjects thoroughly taught - Maths, Science, Social Studies, English and Technology.
4) Eight structured projects each year covering the whole NZ curriculum - students work on these one hour per day. building research and presentation skills and learning time management and organisation.
5) A four hour uninterrupted academic morning each day.
6) An Arts and Activities afternoon - Music, Art, Community Learning, Community Service and Sport.

This workshop will cover what Growth Mindset is, why it is important, the evidence that supports it and the skills to achieve it - in yourself and others. We are ****** grandparents. We have seen a wonderful calmness and positive energy developing within him, it may of course be due to his age progress, however I do think he has found his "Fit" with this school and their personalised coaching programme . We all know every child is different and the "one size fits all" approach to education does not work for every child. Regrettably only the most diligent of parents are going to find this right fit for their children. Congratulations **** and ******* you would appear to have finally found the right fit for *****. For those looking for something more positive the "Open Day" will be a small insight to what you might need.

The boutique style school in Remuera, which opened in 2012, has a maximum roll of just 48 students and limits class sizes to 12. All students have an individualized learning plan and are coached by our Learning Mentor who has over 30 years teaching experience. There is a strong academic focus in the morning with a sport and activity based afternoon session. Students follow an Integrated Project Based Curriculum to aid them in developing research and thinking skills and to prepare them for the senior schooling years. The intimate approach guaranteed success for all students regardless of their learning styles and abilities.
