Middle School West Auckland
Providing outstanding FREE education, with a strong academic focus, to boys and girls in Years 7-10. Middle School West Auckland is located across a split site in Henderson. The largest campus is Jack Ralston House, at 287-289 Lincoln Road, accommodating up to 180 students in class sizes no larger than 15. Pohutukawa Villa, at 22-24 Waipareira Avenue, is the Te Reo bilingual unit, offering a further 60 places. Led by Principal Alex Metzger (formerly of Auckland Grammar School), students are grouped into 'villas' of 60 each overseen by an experienced Academic Manager. Every student receives personal support and guidance and an individualised learning programme to help them reach their personal and academic goals. Uniform, stationery, field trips and (on-site) I.T is provided for ALL students and no donations are requested. Middle School West Auckland does not operate a zoning policy - students from all areas are welcome to apply.
