Marriage Celebrants
My life as a Celebrant started five years ago, when I became a Funeral Celebrant. I have been a nurse for 45 years and this has given me great insight into my job. I am still nursing two days a week at a local Rest Home.
My time working at Te Rangimarie Hospice was invaluable. It certainly helped me talk with families about their loss, with compassion and empathy.
I pride myself on celebrating a person’s life.
I have also been a Wedding Celebrant for two years and it is a pleasure being able to assist people with their wedding arrangements. It gives me a nice balance and an opportunity to meet and help a lot of people.
