Come and join some of our residents at Bayview Community Centre Friday 15th March from 10-12 for some arts and crafts. If you are a caregiver for an elderly relative or friend, or are looking after someone with dementia, join us for a tea/coffee while your loved one enjoys some art and companionship. Briargate's residents have had a busy February. We celebrated Waitangi day, Chinese New Year and Valentines day. Pet therapy came for a visit bringing baby rabbits, ducklings and a dog. Zumba every Monday and Joe "Fingers" singing every Wednesday. The bus took a group to Kumeu … View moreBriargate's residents have had a busy February. We celebrated Waitangi day, Chinese New Year and Valentines day. Pet therapy came for a visit bringing baby rabbits, ducklings and a dog. Zumba every Monday and Joe "Fingers" singing every Wednesday. The bus took a group to Kumeu for strawberry ice creams and they were the best. If you have a family member with Dementia, we offer daycare and respite care, phone to find out if we can help you.
