Takeaway Foods
Bountiful Earth is the “real food” café that’s part of the Challenge complex. In June four friends became the new owners and have since been working hard to learn what their customers want, and deliver it.
Spokesperson Sarah Lawrence explained she’s always had a love of healthy food and with partner Cal Marsh and friends Sean Breeze and Bex Breeze they have widened the selection and increased the quantities of each.
While they continue to offer the popular vegetable samosas and homemade pies the previous owners made, and who generously passed on the recipe, they have a lot more raw, vegan and sugar-free foods for sale in the cabinets, as well as a larger variety of breads from bakers Wild Wheat. With the exception of the breads which are delivered on Fridays and usually sell out, all food is prepared on site.
Takeaway food can be made to order, and includes everything from wraps to burgers to a “really good” coffee range.
Hours are from 6.30am – 3.30pm Mondays to Wednesdays, opening until 4.00pm on Thursdays and Fridays. They’re currently trialling opening on Saturdays too, from 9.00am to 2.00pm.
