First National Collective Hawera

First National Collective is a real estate company evolved from and founded on it's predecessor First National Allied Farmers, who successfully serviced the Taranaki province for over 120 years.

The business was purchased in April 2013 by existing real estate agents Shawn Gibbon and Owen Mills and their wives Pam and Mary.

We have been a member of the New Zealand and Australia wide First National Group since 1999, offering a much broader base of client connections and referrals and the ability to capitalise on the national network while retaining the advantage of local ownership and identity.

Our offices are situated in Stratford, Hawera and New Plymouth and specialise in the marketing of residential, rural, lifestyle and commercial properties, as well as providing rental Property Management services.

The long established rural sales side of the business has for many years performed particularly well, traditionally achieving a market share of 50% or greater of farm sales in Taranaki each year.

About this property
A home with history in a secluded setting on the rural edge of Hawera is what you will find at 3 Puawai Street, one of South Taranaki's premier properties recognised as a New Zealand Garden of Significance.

The property spans over approximately 10 Acres and contains the 143 year old two storey six bedroom five bathroom villa subsequently called Tairoa Lodge. To compliment the villa, there are also two other buildings on the property. A former Gospel Church almost as old as the villa was moved onto the property in 2010 and has since been renovated to incorporate a bar and commercial kitchen together with a character cottage not much younger that was moved onto the grounds in 2005. The cottage contains two bedrooms together with a covered wrap around deck area providing extra space. The cottage and main lodge residence offer Accommodation options, while the cottage and church buildings can accommodate gatherings from small conferences to large weddings, anniversaries and reunions. A wide lawn between the church and cottage provides the option for a large marquee to allow larger weddings and gatherings in the extra space.

With all buildings painted in the same colour as the villa, it provides a visual connection to each other and although all are an easy stroll away from each other, the gardens provide an element of separation. It really is a home with options.

All viewings are by Appointment Only.
