Marie-Claire from Tikipunga

Kia Ora! I’m Emm, I have a little space in town where I hold classes for mindfulness and wellness. This week I have an Essential Oil Class. (I have a massage therapy business as my day job) but the classes are about sharing knowledge and bringing people together to empower them to take sovereignty over their own health. The only cost is for the resources you use because you always get to take home something yummy you’ve made! I’ll provide herb teas and hopefully if I get time some yummy nibbles :)

The Joy Factory Family's first essential oil workshop! This workshop teaches the basic's and the must knows about using essential oils safely and effectively to support wellbeing on all levels as well as detox and simplify your home and self care routines.

Essential oils are the most concentrated and potent plant extracts and dōTERRA essential oils are the purest, highest quality, most tested and trusted oils in the essential oil industry.

In this class you will learn:

+ What essential oils are and how to use them
+ The most recommended essential oils for every family
+ How to reduce the toxic load and create a chemical free
home
+ How to safely use essential oils
+ How to bring them into your life

Essential oils can:

+ support emotional wellbeing
+ promote relaxation and a restful nights sleep
+ support digestive health and metabolism
+ help fight colds
+ alleviate headaches
+ toxic free, age defying beauty
+ and SO much more!

When: Thursday 30 May
Time: 6pm - 7.30pm
Where: The Joy Factory - Level 1, 2 Rathbone Street Whangarei
Cost: $5 (covers costs of bottles etc as you take home what you make)

Please text or phone 0211004310 if interested or wanting more information or a free Wellness Consultation.

See you there!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
