Hi does anyone know of a van/small truck service that works between Whangarei and Auckland? I need something brought up here (disassembled 2 person sauna) which is slightly larger than will fit in my large hatchback car.
Thank you. Ian 021 888 623

Council’s Animal Shelter takes in 500 dogs per year, so if you are looking for a new family member (of the four-legged, furry kind) why not give the shelter a call?
We encourage people to ‘adopt before you shop’ and go and visit to find dogs that really deserve a second chance.

Public access to Whau Valley Dam will be closed for up to six weeks as pines are harvested.
Because the dam is a popular scenic site, a thorough post-harvest clean-up will take place to remove any leftover wood and debris once the logging is complete.

In 2017 the National Government commenced consultation on the next part of the new motorway into Northland, namely the four lane motorway from Warkworth to Whangarei. This project is vital for the growth of the Northland region. It will help improve road safety, travel times and boost regional economic growth.
Labour has not committed to this road project.
We are asking the Government to commit to the funding of the continuous four lane extension of the Northern Motorway from Warkworth to Whangarei.
Add your name, and let Phil Twyford know that he needs to back our region.
